Monsters in the Kitchen

Sugared decorations for cakes and cupcakes. The monster assortment. Sweeeet!

If, however, you want to keep monsters out of the kitchen, according to Bill Cosby, Jello on the floor has stopped many a monster.

Let me mention Stefan G. Bucher's amazingly wonderful Daily Monster drawings, too. According to Stefan, "The Daily Monsters are restless, and they've been waiting for your visit." Don't disappoint them.

Happy Halloween!!!

Befriending a Monster

When Ugly Dog met Devil Dog today, it was the start of a frightful new friendship.

Ugly Dog [Action Figure by Pretty Ugly LLC] thinks he may have been misfiled in this vintage Rolodex. His devilish BFF is the Bad Cuz dog toy, perfect for chewing, chasing, stalking, mauling.

October Obsessions

It's true. I'm obsessed with monsters, but not in an unhealthy, "under the bed" kind of way.

Let me introduce you to today's monster. He's know simply as "Bendy Monster" and hangs out at my desk most afternoons.

Give him some love.

What You Don't Know Can't Hurt You

Milo, the October calendar cat, doesn't know it's November.

I'm always on the prowl for good gifts. Visit Bento Box Gifts on facebook, browse the blog and and follow me on twitter at BentoBoxGirl for even more gift ideas.

Who's the hard-to-buy-for person on your list?

Trick or Treat

I survived 300+ kids jacked up on sugar and applied 300+ temporary tattoos for Trick or Treat night on Penn Avenue. Here's my own tattoo for the evening emblazoned across my knuckles; TRICK, OR, TREAT and a little black bat. I thought it might make me look tough but alas....

I'm all about commitment-free tattoos (like this love tattoo in the XXOO Bento Box) just because I like to keep my options open. So I'm wondering, if you have something more permanent, how did you make your choice?

Trick or treat

It's October!

That means bonfires, ghost stories, and creepy crawlies.
Then there are those little peanut butter cups and Halloween Oreos (awfully good with a morning cup of coffee), M&Ms, candy corn, caramel apples....

So pencil in some fall festivities. And treat yourself to something sweet.
